This is our flagship showcase that attracts teams from throughout the Midwest who wish to display their abilities in front of NCAA Division I-III, NAIA, and NJCAA programs. Over 230 coaches annually scout the tournament and around 200 teams participate each year. We work hard to promote the event to all Midwest collegiate programs. This has proved to be one of the best options in the Midwest for players to be seen.
As well as offering the Showcase divisions for the U15 and older teams, this event also offers a full tournament for U13 and U14 age groups.
To add to the potential exposure, GSI also offers a pre-tournament combine for all interested. This will be held on the Friday preceding the tournament and allows for participants to be coached by college coaches in an on-the-field instructional format.

In addition to the SHOWCASE KC games, players have the opportunity to attend the SHOWCASE KC Combine.
The Combine will be held at the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex on Friday prior to the first games. The Combine allows for players to be COACHED & EVALUATED by multiple coaches in a 2 hour session. This provides a 2-way evaluation process. College coaches get to work with the players in practice type situations and not just sit on the sideline and watch them perform.
Players, on the other hand, get to experience the mannerisms of the coaches and judge if that coach would be the right fit for them.

This tournament is a stay-and-play event. A condition of acceptance requires every “out of town” team to utilize one of the sanctioned hotels and book the rooms through Global Connections Inc. (GCI) using their online request system at GCITeamTravel.com. Global Connections has worked closely with the local hotels and has secured the best rates possible for this event. Outstanding properties will be available at affordable prices. Various options will also be available to satisfy team needs and all budgetary considerations.
A team failing to utilize Global Connections will not be permitted to participate in the tournament.
All teams traveling to participate in the tournament can designate a team representative to make the entire team’s request, or team members may do their own individually online at GCITeamTravel.com. GCI has secured tournament room blocks at reduced rates from a wide range of hotels to suit the needs of all participating teams. A list of the hotels can be found online for this specific tournament.
