About Kansas City SOL

Kansas City Sol is a COMMUNITY based club which provides soccer developmental opportunities to local players. Although the Kansas City Sol is an amateur club participating in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) it brings a professional experience to its fans and players.

Our players are made up of high-quality veteran players, area college stand outs and even high-level KC area high school aged players

Our purpose is to continue the growth of soccer in KC by offering elite level adult amateur competition

The Kansas City Sol will be managed and operated out of our GSI Sports Overland Park, KS offices. GSI has been recognized as one of the country’s premier sports management companies since opening in 2001. We are proud to bring our history, tradition and excellence to high level women’s soccer.

About the NPSL

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is one of the largest established men's soccer leagues in the United States with over 90 teams competing across the country. The NPSL is a successor to the Men's Premier Soccer League (MPSL), which was formed in 2002

The KC SOL league has been designated by USASA as Tier 1 – see pyramid

One of the main goals of the NPSL is to create strong REGIONAL rivalries. The Sol will be playing in the Heartland Conference of the South Region which includes teams from Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Sunflower State FC from Kansas City.
